What people are saying

What people are saying

Real reflections from families, partners, and community members touched by Bahali’s work.

“The support Bahali provided was unlike anything we had received since the hurricane. This was the first workshop of this scale to intentionally focus on emotional well-being. It created space for healing, reflection, and connection, all grounded in respect and dignity. The response from participants truly speaks to how impactful this work has been.”

Bridgette Powell
Regional Manager, Central Jamaica 4-H Clubs

“This workshop gave me hope at a time when I had lost almost everything—my home, my belongings, and a family member. After the hurricane, I felt disoriented and overwhelmed, barely able to keep track of the days. Through this workshop, I was reminded of the importance of simple routines and taking each day one small step at a time. During the relaxation exercises, I felt my body truly relax for the first time since the storm. That moment reminded me that healing is possible.”

Our Caribbean Focus

For Caribbean people across the islands and diaspora, who deserve emotional support that understands their story. Bahali honors language, spirituality, music, humor, and the strength our communities have always carried.

  • Caribbean islanders living through disasters, loss, and everyday stress.
  • Caribbean migrants navigating new countries, systems, and expectations.
  • Caribbean families balancing culture, generational patterns, and change.
Underserved communities that have had the least access to culturally safe care.

Our work is rooted in care, rooted in culture, and rooted in community.
